Each year we try hard to create as many poppies as possible ahead of our October poppy campaign, pre-orders close end of June (or when our cap is reached) so we can ensure delivery for October. We can only do a limited run each year for October each year (30 beaded), but you can order at any time. Outside out our fall campaign dates (spring orders for current year), poppy orders fall into the normal custom order production schedule so you can have them well ahead of next season.
The 2022 Poppy design is a free-edge leather (or cork) beaded poppy with a 1-inch bar pin behind. Black fire polish frame with dark green Swarovski marguerite center stone set in black leather (or cork). We have two options for the fill, with more or less sparkle as you wish: Either solid dark red, or solid dark red with a silver-lined red outer line.
These charitable pins are created on a not-for-profit basis and the total price includes the $10 donation amount, cost of materials, honorarium to the beader, and Canada Post Lettermail shipping (as we try to keep costs as low as possible). Shipping to the US with this same service is $2 more and if you wish tracking it is $12 more within Canada, $15 to the US. We highly recommend tracking, you will receive a photo of your order and posted envelope, but without tracking neither party will have access to parcel information. While all payment forms are gratefully accepted, please consider choosing "cheque" for the etransfer option at checkout on our charitable items (it eliminates payment processing costs).
